Bent and Curved Glass supplied a fully frameless glass balustrade solution for a spiral staircase installed at a high-end project on Matheson Road. The spiral staircase connected the basement, ground floor entry and first floor levels.

The frameless glass balustrade complemented the minimalist design aesthetic and met the owner’s desire for a clean, open look, which would allow flow of light and vision between levels, and views to the external landscaping.

The balustrade was made using toughened structural laminated engineered glass to provide a compliant yet seamless product. Additionally, the fixings were concealed in the stringer framing to further enhance the clean lines of the staircase.

The Bent and Curved Glass team drew on years of experience to achieve a high level of dimensional accuracy and fine detail of edge finish required for this project. The final outcome met the expectations of the builder and owner.
