Damage to vehicles and property by oversize vehicles can be eliminated with suspended height bars from Barrier Group .
Areas of restricted height can be protected by installing a suspended height bar, which is available in five standard lengths.
The height bars are made from durable galvanised steel tubes, and come with suspension chain and hanger assemblies. They are powder coated safety yellow with reflective diagonal stripes.
They carry a “LOW CLEARANCE” warning with the specified height in black letters on a white background.
Height bars are ideal for locations where vehicles first enter an undercover area or encounter an overhead obstruction where the clearance is:
- 3 metres or less if only cars or light vans are likely to use the facility
- 4.6 metres or less in all other areas.
Freestanding surface mount or below ground posts are available for installation where there is no existing supporting structure.
Optional offset hangers are available in two lengths.
