Daimler AG recently honoured ten suppliers with the 2015 Daimler Supplier Award for outstanding performance during the past financial year. Leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings Axalta Coating Systems was awarded in the Global Procurement Trucks and Buses category for the supply of top quality painting materials.
Speaking on behalf of the global Axalta team, Axalta Coating Systems Commercial Transportation Vice President Joseph Wood said the award was proof positive about their outstanding efforts as well as strong commitment to service and innovation.
The coveted 2015 Daimler Supplier Awards were presented for the categories of Quality, Partnership and Innovation at the Mercedes-Benz branch in Stuttgart, Germany in front of an audience of around 450 invited guests from the supplier industry.
The Daimler Supplier Award honours suppliers for above-average performance and partnership collaboration at an annual event with performance measured in terms of quality, cost, reliable delivery and innovative strength.
