AUSTRALIAN Pump Industries has released a new high Hatz air cooled diesel engine version of a popular Aussie 2" heavy duty trash pump.

Called the Aussie QP201T, the pump offers an unequalled ability to handle liquids with solids in suspension. It is suitable for use in construction, mining or government utilities.

Australian Pump selected the Hatz model 1B20 3.1kW air cooled industrial diesel engine as the prime power. The engine provides excellent torque characteristics at high engine speed.

The engine uses tough but lightweight alloys for major components resulting in a lightweight, compact design coupled with high engine performance.

The pump offers contractors, hire companies and miners, diesel fuel economy with great solids handling capability. The pump will handle up to 650L per minute flow with a maximum solids passed of up to 19mm.

The Aussie trash gobbler self primes from depths of down to 7.3m and offers a maximum head performance of 26m, making it ideal for most construction site dewatering applications.

Like all Aussie trash pumps, the QP201T comes with a big front mounted clean out door that can be opened by the operator in a matter of seconds. A large cast iron non clog style open impeller is provided as standard equipment to facilitate the movement of solids through the pump chamber.

Aussie Quik Prime trash pumps come complete with coupling and strainer kits and are mounted in a heavy duty steel roll frame for ease of movement on site, with anti vibration rubber mounts supplied as standard.

"Hatz diesels provide this great rugged trash pump with real power in a compact, lightweight package," said Product Manager, John Whiteley.
