Australian Forestry Standard advises certified companies to make the
most of their AFS and PEFC certifications by using the logos on products and
various communication materials.
According to AFS, certified companies have the most to gain from
increasing consumer awareness of the AFS and PEFC logos.
Australian companies certified to the Australian Standard for
sustainable forest management (AS 4708), the Australian Standard for chain of
custody of forest products (AS 4707) or the PEFC chain of custody standard
(PEFC ST 2002:2013) are entitled to use the AFS and/or PEFC logos, provided
they have signed a logo use contract with AFS Ltd and abide by the rules
governing the use of these logos.
