Wayne Boyle is a Disability Access Consultant and Managing Director of Australian Disabled Access Consultants , a national disability access consultancy that is based in Canada Bay, Sydney. He is also a member of the Canada Bay Council Disability Access Advisory Committee.

Health NSW appointed Wayne Boyle to member of the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation’s Intellectual Disability Network Steering Committee to continue his community service for people with disabilities and special needs, protecting their rights and improving their quality of living, all while continuing his work.

The NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation is a board-governed statutory health corporation that was established in January 2010 following the Garling Report of the Special Commission of Inquiry into Acute Care Services in NSW Public Hospitals.

Wayne Boyle will help to provide technical building design support and advice to the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation’s Intellectual Disability Network Steering Committee to ensure dignified and equality of access for people with intellectual disabilities and special needs within the built environment. He will also help to provide design support and advice for accessibility into and within buildings and public places for compliance with NSW Government policies, Part D3 of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards for: 

  1. Health services building design
  2. Wheelchair access
  3. Ramps, walkways and landings
  4. Building interiors and public places layout and landscaping designs
  5. Car parking area layouts and parking facilities
People with intellectual disabilities and special needs have the same rights to life and privileges afforded to the able-bodied people within our community and need our continued support.
