Austral Lock’s Yarra Series Door Locks Offer Australian Homes Design and Security

    Austral Lock Industries

Austral Lock Industries  introduces the new Yarra Series of door locks designed to fit timber, aluminium or uPVC framed sliding glass doors.

Yarra Series sliding door locks feature an all-metal construction and are designed with style as well as functionality. The self-adjusting catch plate responds to building and door movement over time, and is designed for maximum security.

Yarra Series glass door locks are available in two lock types. The Yarra Ridge Classic lock features an offset cylinder for easy operation while the Yarra View incorporates a narrow format lock to suit a wide range of left or right closing sliding doors.

The Australian made and designed Yarra Series locks use twin counter-acting beaks that engage an all-metal catch plate to provide resistance to jemmying and lifting, ensuring a safe and secure lock at all times.

An additional security feature in the Yarra Series locks is the anti-slam plunger, which prevents the beaks from being extended until the door is fully closed, reducing the risk of damage to the door and lock.

According to Austral Lock Product Manager, Mr Peter Black, owners when designing a home seek fixtures that offer reliable security while fitting into the overall interior design of the home.

The Yarra Series of door locks fits both criteria by combining unbeatable security technology with contemporary design to suit the modern home.

Yarra Series sliding door locks are available in three contemporary styles including Slim, Edge and Curve with a wide choice of colours such as black matt, brown, magnolia, white gloss, mist green, silver pearl and satin chrome.

Yarra Series locks come with a comprehensive warranty.

Austral Lock is Australia’s leading specialist lock manufacturer and a division of Gainsborough Hardware Industries Ltd, under the umbrella of GWA International Limited, Australia’s leading supplier of building fixtures and fittings to households and commercial premises.
