Westfields Figtree have recently undergone a transformation, including the use of cultured stone to clad part of its exterior. Cultured stone from Austech External Building Products was used in the renovation of Westfields Figtree.
Aspen Dressed Fieldstone was chosen for the exterior wall sections. Fieldstone’s unique pieces created a robust external feature wall that looks and feels like real stone.
Cultured stone is a manufactured stone. It is made from lightweight concrete and is therefore only around a quarter of the weight of real stone. Cultured stone requires less structural support and time to lay, as a result, it is cheap to purchase and install.
Aspen Dressed Fieldstone gives a rugged natural look. It can be used in a variety of ways, from simple fireplaces and entrances, to displays and huge feature walls.
