Austech External Building Products has introduced BGC fibre cement cladding products to their existing range of claddings and facades.
The addition of the BGC cladding products range allows Austech to offer greater variety in external lightweight claddings and facades for homes or projects.
Duraplank, Nuline and Stonesheet are the three BGC products being introduced to complement Austech’s existing claddings and facades such as Duratuff Select vinyl cladding, Foamular extruded polystyrene and CraftStone. All BGC products are made and manufactured in Australia.
BGC Duraplank
Similar to traditional weatherboards both in display and installation methods, BGC Duraplank planks can withstand decay, rot or white ant damage and are also non-combustible, providing a secure, more durable cladding that requires very little maintenance. BGC Duraplank comes in a smooth finish or wood grain texture for the authentic weatherboard look. Duraplank can be used in bushfire prone areas classified up to BAL 29.
BGC Nuline
A unique weatherboard-style cladding system with the appearance of real timber weatherboard, Nuline eliminates all worries associated with natural timber weatherboard constructions. Suitable for use in bushfire prone areas of up to BAL 40, Nuline features a simple-to-install joining system to deliver a faultless finish that looks good and lasts a lifetime.
BGC Stonesheet
Austech's recommended stone tile substrate and background for true masonry on timber or steel framed buildings, Stonesheet is suitable for interior and exterior use. The non-structural substrate is designed to take a maximum stone/tile façade weight of 40kg/m².
