Ausco Modular  recently designed and constructed a new modular study and recreation facility for Central Coast Grammar School, located in Erina Heights, NSW. The primary and secondary college has a consistently increasing student population, making it important for Ausco Modular to create a large but flexible space.

Ausco Modular’s experienced design team collaborated with the school to understand their requirements and it became clear that the need for an adaptable working environment to meet the growing student expectations was fundamental. Central Coast Grammar School found that Ausco Modular provided affordable options and the construction was flexible, fast and not very interruptive to the school population.

The building is a 288 square meter room with the flexibility to be used as a recreation room, study room, computer lab and exam room. The external finishes of the building are designed with the aesthetic of a permanent structure. Zincalume is used from the verandah to the external wall design, and horizontally wraps the middle of the buildings perimeter creating a banding effect on the wall.
