ASSA ABLOY has released the 2012 dates for its door hardware training programs that have been designed for customers and business partners alike.

The training programs will be held in NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria, and Western Australia, and because of the amount of products available, the courses target specific areas of the market, including:

  • Retail Training Program (RTP)
  • Commercial Training Program (CTP); and
  • Industrial Training Program (ITP)
The RTP is aimed at those who work in a retail environment, including hardware and speciality door hardware stores. It covers the locks and door hardware that is ideally suited to residential applications, focusing on sales skills in particular.

The CTP is a perfect introductory to intermediate level training course for all that work with door hardware used in commercial building environments. This program covers a range of topics, including standards, regulations and building codes as well as hands on work.

The ITP door hardware training program is particularly for OEM door and window manufacturers and distributors of the associated products. A very hands on course and includes the assembly and installation of door hardware.

More information, including the program locations and dates, is available from the ASSA ABLOY website.
