Taking a creative approach resolved issues with the existing floors at a heritage building in Melbourne during its redevelopment.

Located at 570 Church Street in the heart of Melbourne’s suburb of Richmond, the project was a redevelopment of the existing heritage listed office building to achieve a 4 Star NABERS and 5 Star Green Star Rating.

An access floor solution provided the client, Emleigh Pty Ltd a solution for a level surface after decades of multiple floor finishes having been applied to the existing heritage floor.

ASP Access Floors engineered a solution for the ground floor area with a double height access floor system installed utilising the rigid grid system.

Access floor systems used in the redevelopment included steel cementitious 3.0kN Ultra Fix system, steel cementitious 3.0kN rigid grid system, calcium sulphate interlock system in the amenities, and steel cementitious 4.5kN rigid grid HPL system.
