Almost daily, builders are asked about insect screen options for Bi-folds and French doors. Most are aware of retractable insect screens as a functional, clean and unobtrusive screening solution, but don’t have enough information about them to offer advice to their customers.
Artilux retractable insect screens are practical and functional. Able to screen areas up to six metres wide by three metres high, they cover most residential applications such as French, Bi-Fold, Stacker, Sliding and Hinged doors as well as windows. They are also suitable for sheltered enclosures such as entertainment areas, verandas and patios.
DIY option for builders:
Standard Artilux retractable insect screens are available in Kit form for on site DIY applications. The screen system is supplied in a semi assembled form, pre-tensioned in a self contained cassette.
Cutting down the screen system is as simple as four cuts:
· Cut cassette, mesh and handle (together)
· Cut top track
· Cut bottom track
· Cut receiver channel
With easy to follow instructions and simple to install, the system is an ideal screening solution for builders and trades people to supply and install.
Standard colours apply, however a wide selection of special colours is available from the Dulux and Interpon range, and the system is also available in a clean anodise finish.
