Artemide Australia announces the introduction of Hoshigame by Issey Miyake in Australia.
Co-developed with Issey Miyake, IN-EI is a sophisticated collection of freestanding, table and suspension lights conceptually launched in Europe in 2012.
The new Hoshigame collection of lights features Miyake’s trademark folding technology combined with a special fabric derived from recycled PET bottles to create sculptural yet rigid forms. Designed to be collapsible, the geometric shades retain their form perfectly without the need for an internal frame.
The Hoshigame range’s intricate shades were designed using complex two- and three-dimensional mathematical principles with the harmonious blend of light and shade creating a visually enchanting form.
