Decorative perforated panels from Arrow Metal adorn the facade of the Westin Hotel in Perth, greeting guests with a five-star welcome while providing the high-end hotel a high-end finish to match.

Black decorative perforated panels are spread across the front of the building’s glass-covered base to form a striking visual feature that separates the foyer from the hotel floors above.

The Arrow Metal team precision perforated over 290 aluminium panels to create the distinctive installation. The panels were perforated in pattern 258, a standard, in-stock profile of 19mm holes in a staggered pitch with a 51% open area. Each 3mm panel was cut to the project’s various required sizes from 900 x 350mm up to 900 x 3737mm.

Decorative perforated panels for prestige Australian CBD developments

Creating an elegant entrance by day and night, the perforated panels shine the spotlight on the Westin Hotel as the flagship of Hibernian Place – Perth’s hospitality hotspot in the heart of the CBD. Together with the Westin, Hibernian Place boasts a selection of prestige leisure, wellness and restaurant brands, all surrounding an expansive pedestrian and events plaza.

The 368-room Westin Hotel was the first State Government hotel incentives development, designed to boost tourism, leisure, and corporate city stayovers.

It is one of the top commercial developments to be added to Arrow Metal’s portfolio of CBD projects as trusted perforated metal suppliers for architects who are shaping and redeveloping Australian cities.

Arrow Metal’s work can be seen in Sydney’s CBD at George Place, the Wynyard to Barangaroo Tunnel, and the historic Queen Victoria Building.
