ARDEX Australia has expanded its existing Facade Restoration Range with four new rendering products.

Comprising of a general purpose acrylic render, a polymer modified render, a pre-mixed jointing and patching mortar, and a performance enhancing polymer primer and additive, ARDEX’s new Render range can provide a modern finish to new homes or revive the appearance of an existing building.

Megan Cloran, National Marketing Manager, ARDEX Australia explains that the new Facade Restoration Range has been expanded with a focus on providing complete systems to their customers to meet repairing, rendering and coating requirements.

A general purpose acrylic render recommended for a wide variety of substrates, ARDEX WR 100 is suitable for internal and external applications, has superior application and finishing properties, and requires no maturing time, allowing application immediately after mixing.

Formulated for more specialised substrates including painted surfaces, EPS (polystyrene) foam panels, blueboard and existing render, ARDEX WR 60 is the ideal polymer modified render for non-porous and flexible substrates. It produces a 2-5mm build-up with a medium fine finish and eliminates sagging and cracking. This render also does not require maturing time before application.

A three-in-one pre-mixed jointing and patching mortar and key coat for non-porous substrates, ARDEX WR 31 delivers excellent adhesion to dense and non-porous substrates, and is suitable for both internal and external applications. The render is also recommended for jointing fibre-cement sheet and blueboard prior to rendering, and patching cracks and holes of existing render to a depth of up to 5mm.

ARDEX WR Prime is a performance enhancing polymer primer and additive suitable for most cement based construction products. When used as an additive for cement based renders, adhesives, screeds and grouts, ARDEX WR Prime will significantly enhance bond strength and increase flexibility and working time. Used as a primer, it will improve adhesion to masonry, concrete walls, AAC panels, existing render, blueboard and fibre-cement sheet.

ARDEX WPM 310 is a tough, UV stable flexible, premixed liquid applied waterproofing membrane. It has been specifically formulated as a general purpose membrane for exposed wall and roof waterproofing. ARDEX WPM 310 can be applied as an aesthetically attractive textured or semi-smooth finish for walls or a semi-smooth uniform finish for roofs. ARDEX WPM 310 is available in a range of standard colours.

ARDEX WPM 330 is an extremely weather resistant water based acrylic waterproofing membrane, especially designed as an exposed façade membrane. ARDEX WPM 330 prevents moisture, salt and carbon dioxide entering and damaging the building structure while still allowing the building to breathe.
