ARBS, Australia’s only international air conditioning, refrigeration and building services trade exhibition, returns to Melbourne next year.

With preparations in full swing for ARBS 2020 in Melbourne, let’s take a moment to look back on the successful Sydney event in 2018, which broke all previous records for attendance.

ARBS 2018 in Sydney recorded 3427 visitors on Tuesday, 8 May; 3965 visitors on Wednesday, 9 May; and 2362 visitors on Thursday, 10 May, adding up to a grand total of 9,754 visitors – an overall increase of ten percent compared to ARBS 2016.

The 2018 Sydney edition also witnessed a power-packed Speaker Series programme with panels and guest presenters delivering a staggering 34 sessions on topics from Net-Zero Buildings to MEPS for Fans and Big Data. 

IBTech@ARBS, a new precinct for the 2018 exhibition will return in 2020, even more dedicated to intelligent building technology and solutions. The 2018 exhibition saw exhibitors presenting product and technology information, updates and demonstrations.

The ARBS 2018 Industry Awards, the highlight of the event honoured those who achieved greatness in the industry.

In 2020, ARBS returns to Melbourne with an even greater line-up of speakers, demonstrations and networking opportunities.
