Hansen Yuncken, the Design and Construct contractor for the development of the prestigious $120 million St John of God Hospital in Berwick, Victoria, selected paving solutions from Anston Architectural for the project.

Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the new hospital is part of a major health precinct that services one of Victoria’s fastest-growing communities. Hansen Yuncken delivered an impressive scope of works including the paving installation in the external courtyards of the hospital.

The courtyards feature Anston pavers in three colours, Vega, Atlas and Mimosa, which have been laid to create a striking pattern. Standalone paving steppers nestle within the turf, linking the main paved area to the children’s playspace.

The pavers were laid on pedestals, eliminating the need for using grout or glue since each paver was individually supported. The resulting finish shows strikingly clean lines between the pavers.
