The 2010 Tema tile range from Amber Tiles blends elegance in design with environmental sustainability.
Amber Tiles’ new Tema series has been inspired by, and embraced the ‘eco-green’ trend in home renovations making it a perfect fit for chic yet eco-friendly home styling in indoor as well as outdoor environments.
Designed to infuse a touch of vintage in even the most contemporary home, the Tema eco-tile is a glazed porcelain stoneware floor tile with each piece possessing a unique finish print.
Each Tema tile is made with greater than 40% of pre-consumed recyclable material, making it one of the most eco-friendly flooring options available.
“By altering the production process whilst still maintaining the highest quality aesthetic standards, we are proud to be able to offer a collection reflecting modern-day principles of beauty and eco-awareness,” says Kate Lane, Amber Tiles Interior Products Expert.
The environmental benefits of the Tema series are acknowledged by LEED certification, an internationally recognised Green Building standard.
This means the tile was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance through energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction and improved indoor environmental quality.
Inspired by the fusion effect of cement ‘clay’ and reminiscent of stone floors from centuries past, the Tema range embraces the four earthen tones of brown, beige, dusty-grey and charcoal (known in this range as Terra, Avorio, Polvere and Anthracite).
The Tema range is available exclusively in Amber stores across NSW, ACT and QLD in a 450mm x 450mm size.
