The universal SensoTrans R P 32300 resistance transmitters provide connection possibilities for all standard potentiometers, resistance sensors, remote resistance transducers, and similar sensors up to 50 k ohms with automatic sensor recognition (2-, 3- or 4-wire).

SensoTrans R P 32300 Resistance Transmitter can be flexibly adapted to the respective measuring task. This adaptation to the actually used adjustment range of a potentiometer is performed through a self-learning process at the push of a button (e.g. using a PDA).

To do so, the resistance sensor must only be set to its two end positions – the transmitter saves these values and correspondingly adjusts its output. Alternatively, you can also make this adjustment directly at the transmitter. Here, rotary coding switches ensure the drift-free adjustment of the range limits.

The SensoTrans R P 32300 Resistance Transmitter finds ideal applications in control and monitoring systems, SIL 2(3) rated safety shutdown systems and for similar critical jobs. Analogue signals with 0 ... 20 mA / 4 ... 20 mA or 0 ... 5 V / 0 ... 10 V are available at the output of the transmitter.
