Alvi Technologies announces the availability of Jola diesel leak sensors
designed to monitor diesel leaks in tanks.
Traditional leak sensors are designed to pick up conductive liquids such
as water, and are ineffective with diesel leaks since diesel is not conductive.
A gas sensor on the wall will also not pick up a diesel leak as diesel
does not give off any gas fumes at room temperature. Jola’s leak
sensors offer the only guaranteed method to detect such leaks.
Jola’s diesel leak sensor is installed within the bund and close to the
tank. Even a couple of millimetres of leaked diesel will activate the alarm.
Jola’s diesel leak sensors are also suitable for detecting most other
non-conductive liquids including motor oil.
