Located in the heart of the city, the iconic 5-star Mayfair Hotel offers luxury accommodation and contemporary dining facilities to guests and patrons. As part of a recent update to their busy kitchen, the hotel approached Altro for a safety flooring solution to match their elegant interiors.

Altro Stronghold 30/K30 was installed throughout the kitchen providing an R12, P5 rating for slip resistance. Frequently specified for commercial kitchens, Altro Stronghold 30/K30 offers several advantages in environments exposed to grease, oils or fats.

Key advantages of Altro Stronghold 30/K30 safety flooring include Altro’s highest rating for slip resistance in areas of heavy traffic; long-term durability; ease of cleaning and maintenance; and 3mm thickness providing added noise reduction, comfort and strength underfoot.

Altro’s Abyss colour was chosen for the Mayfair Hotel kitchen installation, meeting both aesthetic as well as functional requirements of the brief.
