The Apollo Deadman ball valve provides a positive shut-off unless it is manually held open. This is particularly useful in situations where the there is a risk of the valve being left in the open position by the operator or where the valve must automatically close for safety reasons.

Examples of this may be on fuel lines, chemical systems or on oil barrels. The valve body is available in three different materials.

They are:

  • Bronze rated to 600psi
  • Stainless steel rated to 2000psi up to 1 ¼" and 1500psi up to 2"
  • Carbon steel rated to 2000psi up to 1 ¼" and 1500psi up to 2"

Sizes are available in 1/2" (15mm) to 2" (50mm) in either NPT or BSP thread.

The valve features a blow-out proof stem design and all lever components are stainless steel. The Apollo Deadman ball valve is available with several options, such as graphite packing for fire-safe applications, PTFE trim, or the valve can be assembled dry or oxygen cleaned.

Material Certifications are available upon request, as well as a Certificate of Compliance. This is a high quality valve made in the United States and is suitable for numerous industrial, mining, marine, and other OH&S applications.
