Record Automated Doors has been working in conjunction with their UK partner for vehicle access control, Cova Security Gates, developing crash rated gate, SpeedGate. Record Automated Doors is please to announce the availability of this crash rated gate to the Australian market.
This crash tested gate offers a combination of PAS 68 crash resistance (7.5 tonnes at 64kmh) with high speed operation, trackless operation (no top or bottom housing) and small installation footprint.
SpeedGate crash rated gates are easy to integrate into existing building structures as they only require an excavation depth of about 300mm and when closed look like a “normal” gate.
One of the advantages these crash rated security gates have over traditional truck stoppers such as road blockers (rising steps) or bollards is that the vehicle is stopped completely within 3000mm and the debris is completely contained or captured by the gate leaves.
