Zurich Tower is a 29-storey A-grade commercial office tower in North Sydney, and part of the growth and vitalisation story of the business district.
Designed by FJMT and built by Roberts Pizzarotti, Zurich Tower boasts expansive views of Sydney Harbour, particularly from the rooftop terrace area. Access to this area is controlled through a dual sliding door airlock entrance automated with Record STA 20 sliding door operators.
To maximise the clear opening height of the entryway, the door operators are mounted within the ceiling space, with drop down access hatches allowing key components of the operators to be serviced.
Record’s RIC 290 safety sensors are flush mounted within the ceiling finishes. The doors are operated using a card reader internally with push button, and break glass activation externally in accordance with emergency egress requirements.
