Advanced LED lighting technology from Aglo Systems was an important part of the new look retail stores rolled out Australia-wide by telecommunications giant Optus.
Seeking a new look for their retail outlets, Optus commissioned retail consultants greater group to design a store fit-out that was innovative, simple, and very importantly, bright. Aware of the role of lighting in interior design, greater group contacted Aglo Systems to provide the latest in lighting technology that would illuminate each store.
Aglo’s retail store lighting package included Frost spotlights utilised on modern, track lighting for practicality and versatility, drawing the customer’s focus to the right merchandise displays; tiltable Comet downlights recessed into the wall panel displays for additional depth and feature highlighting; and decorative white pendants to create a unique feel while remaining consistent with the branding and the store’s design.
The nationwide rollout of Optus stores featuring Aglo’s lighting won greater group two Sydney Design Awards for Best Retail Interior Design and Best Marketing Brand Experience. To date, over 170 stores feature Aglo’s lighting within their fitouts.
