Mills Gorman Architects designed a custom range of wall lights for Grossi Florentino Grill, one of Melbourne’s top restaurants. Aglo Systems engineered and manufactured the beautiful wall lights for the restaurant lighting project.

According to Craig Gorman, Mills Gorman Architects, Aglo Systems fabricated the lights using CNC routed and painted MDF, folded and powder coated steel and a brass shade with powder coated interior. Custom stitched leather straps, brass furniture screws with threaded wall inserts and gold capped LED bulbs added the finishing touches to the stylish lights.

Commenting on their association with Aglo Systems for the execution of the project, Craig Gorman said that the high-end project with its budget and time issues, demanded that they worked only with professionals. From the initial concept stage, Aglo Systems worked closely with the architects to establish realistic budgets and timelines. Aglo Systems developed the light fittings through a series of design and value management workshops, delivering six unique and beautiful fittings on time and on budget.

He added that working with Aglo was an enjoyable and smooth process, and they would work with them on future projects.

The Grossi Florentino Grill project was completed in less than four weeks from start to finish.
