Wall system helps complete project six weeks ahead of schedule

    AFS Systems

The AFS LOGICWALL wall system from AFS Products Group Pty Ltd helped speed up construction at a large residential development project in Brisbane.

Upper Roma Street, Brisbane, a large multi-residential development was erected with ultimate speed, and the structure was completed a whole six weeks ahead of the scheduled construction programme. The Project Manager and Site Manager were very pleased with the performance of the walling system as well as the installation team.

The AFS LOGICWALL and HD Projects install team came highly recommended by the Formworker, based on excellent working relationships on several previous projects. This was achieved through AFS’ proven strong capacity, reliability of supply and professionalism onsite.

According to the builder, AFS walls provided real time savings for the project and the ability to finish the face of the walls resulted in cost savings on claddings and linings. The acoustic performance of the party walls also saved time and money as AFS ticked all boxes structurally, acoustically and for inter-tenancy fire rating.

The engineer commented that their current clients preferred to use AFS over alternative building products due to the speed of construction.
