Award-winning developer TOGA Group chose the LOGICWALL walling system from AFS Systems Pty Ltd (CSR) to complete a challenging mixed-use project in West Ryde, NSW ahead of schedule.
Located on Bett Street in West Ryde, the retail/residential precinct needed to be developed with minimal disruption to the existing Coles Supermarket on the property and without sacrificing construction quality. Choosing LOGICWALL was fundamental to achieving both objectives.
MEINHARDT Associate Director Rod Wong commented that the technical design data and support available for AFS LOGICWALL assisted them tremendously during the design and documentation phase. TOGA chose the AFS walling system as the preferred load-bearing solution to gain from the overall construction speed in conjunction with the pre-stressed floor structure, and the reduction in slab thicknesses using one way slab design in some areas instead of two way flat plates.
By specifying AFS LOGICWALL, the developer was able to complete the construction significantly ahead of program. AFS LOGICWALL 120mm party walls, 150mm party walls, 162mm party walls, 200mm blade walls, 200mm lift and stair core, and 120mm balustrade walls were used in the project.
