presents the Unimeasure HX series of linear position transducers designed to
suit applications, where exposure to rain, washdown or submersion in liquids is
a major concern.
Featuring a rugged anodised
aluminum and stainless steel housing, or an all stainless steel housing, the linear
position sensors are ideal for applications involving food processing machinery,
valve positioning, refinery equipment, pulp and paper processing, and textile
machinery among many others.
The HX series linear position
transducer offers a very cost effective solution for linear measurement in
adverse environments.
The NEMA 4 or optional NEMA 6 housing
provides an extremely rigid two point mount, O-ring sealed sensor chamber,
integral cable dust and debris filter, and small overall footprint.
Key features of the new Unimeasure
HX series of linear position transducers include electrical output options comprising
of ratiometric voltage, 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 10 VDC, ±10 VDC, and TTL compatible digital square wave; actuated
by extending a multistranded stainless steel cable maintained in constant
tension by an internal spring; measurement ranges from 0 to 2" (50.8mm) to
0 to 80" (2.03m); and a highly rugged design.
