ADM Instrument Engineering introduces a new range of IECEx certified
accelerometers from Monitran capable of measuring both vibration and temperature
levels in various predictive maintenance applications.
Monitran recently added the temperature measuring capability to their
IECEx-certified sensors. Certified to IECEx Group II, the MTN/2285IT and
MTN/2200IT series of accelerometers are sealed to IP67, making them ideal for measuring
vibration and temperature in environments exposed to explosive gases, liquids
or dust.
The new Monitran IECEx certified accelerometers can be supplied with
integral cables, or 4-pin connectors.
MTN/2285IT
Ideal for monitoring applications, the MTN/2285IT series comprises of sensors
featuring DC current outputs in the 4-20mA range, proportional to RMS velocity
(mm/s) and temperature as a voltage at a sensitivity of 10mV/°C. The operating
temperature is certified to T6 (-55°C ≤ Ta ≤ +45°C).
MTN/2200IT
Suitable for analysis applications, the MTN/2200IT series features
constant current accelerometers with isolated outputs for acceleration, in
volts at a standard sensitivity of 100mV/g, and temperature at a sensitivity of
10mV/°C. The operating temperature is certified to T4 (-55°C ≤ Ta ≤ +95°C).
