ADM Instrument Engineering announces the release of a new range of power supplies designed specifically for medical applications.

The new MeanWell RPS-300 medical power supplies measure a compact 5” x 3” but pack a high power density of 14.5w/in³.

The RPS-300 series is compliant with international medical safety regulations, having 2 x MOPP (means of patient protection) and giving remarkably low leakage current (<=300 µA at 264 VAC), making it suitable for patient contact equipment.

Key features and benefits of MeanWell RPS-300 medical power supplies include an active PFC function; 90~264 VAC full range input; up-to-date low leakage current topology and synchronous rectifier technology; up to 93% efficiency; 300 VAC input surge immunity for 5 seconds, reducing damage from unstable AC mains; ‘power good/power fail’ signal output; 12V/0.5A auxiliary output; and short circuit, overload, over voltage, and over temperature protection.

The MeanWell RPS-300 is equipped with remote ON/OFF control and 5V/1A standby output, which offers a no load power consumption of <0.5W, making it perfect for all energy-saving medical equipment.
