Access Urbanfil 8-part covers with brass edge were supplied by
ACO Polycrete for installation at the Eastern Busway Stones Corner station.
The second stage of Brisbane’s Eastern Busway Project comprises a 1.1km bus transitway costing $465m. The Stones Corner station is one of two stations whose route links the University of QLD to the South East Busway (Stage 1).
To eliminate unsightly service enclosures where possible in keeping with the design philosophy of previous busway projects in Brisbane, the designers chose ACO’s Urbanfil covers with brass edging to preserve the visual continuity of the charcoal coloured honed concrete finish of the station walkways and thoroughfares.
Additionally, ACO trench drain systems and ACO Cablemate trafficable enclosures were also installed in the busway project.
