A new fabric welding line and overseas projects are some of the latest developments at 1300 Inflate .

The company commissioned a new state-of-the-art fabric welding line at their factory in July, which offers a higher degree of accurate seaming, wider seam allowances and higher pressure tolerance. The new welding line also allows 1300 Inflate to weld a wider range of materials including environment-friendly and recyclable polyurethane materials.

The welding line capability will ensure better turnaround times for 1300 Inflate’s Plug Up isolation plugs product range and also enable the company to offer their renowned 48-hour quality and pressure tests.

1300 Inflate has also been able to win a few international projects including the production of duct balloons for Oman Oil in Sohar, an ORPIC owned refinery in Oman. The duct balloons were manufactured and delivered to specifications in a short period of time. The balloons are being used by the client to isolate the boiler, saving them a lot of maintenance time.

1300 Inflate also developed a special weld spatter resistant shroud to match a remotely inflatable 600 dia Plug Up for Oil SearchPNG. The fire retardant properties of the shroud and plug material were enhanced using a nanotech product from their new partners at Ceracoat.
