Six Degrees Architects has invited two long-term team members to join its board, while a further three studio members have been promoted into leadership roles.

Sarah Bennett and Michael Frazzetto joined the board of directors in November 2019.

“Both Sarah and Michael are strong leaders who have been with Six Degrees for over 15 years and have made significant contributions to our business and unique culture. It seems very natural to invite them both to become Directors,” states the board.

“We are also pleased to be improving gender balance at the senior level.”

According to Six Degrees, in her role as general manager, Bennett has managed to successfully balance the practice’s creative and fiscal demands while consistently demonstrating a sensitive hand and being business savvy.

Meanwhile, Frazzetto is expected to lead new business; identifying opportunities and guiding new projects at the earliest stages, leading with a strong client focus.

The board has also appointed three new associate directors.

Prani Hodges will oversee performance and productivity in the role of Best Practice Manager. Highly experienced in leading successful Six Degrees projects including Nightingale 2.0, Deakin Burwood Library and ACMI workplace, Hodges will work with the firm’s core talent to evolve the most efficient and effective paths to quality delivery.

Horaci Sanchez joined Six Degrees following five years in New York at David Adjaye Architects and having worked on the Perez Museum, Miami with Handel Architects and Herzog de Meuron. A gifted design architect, as design manager Sanchez will progress the evolution of Six Degrees’ design principles to larger scale projects.

Dan Demant has a proven record of delivering technically complex and challenging buildings; he will step into the role of delivery manager. According to Six Degrees, his strengths are intuitively understanding key project priorities, sustainability and efficient coordination of accurate documentation.
