Plus Architecture has introduced Georgina Dougenis and Gabriel Duque to Plus Architecture's Sydney team.
Georgina Dougenis joined the Sydney team in January 2018 as a registered architect. With a Diploma of Project Management and a Bachelor of Architecture, she brings over 15 years of industry experience to the team. Her greatest passion is problem solving in architecture.
Having worked at Turner, Dougenis comes with extensive residential, high rise and mixed-use development experience. Her experience also extends to the retail sector, having worked at Anthony Vavayis Architects. As the lead retail designer for retail chain Oxford Shop, Dougenis designed and delivered over ten different interior design fitouts across Sydney and Melbourne.
Senior associate Gabriel Duque also joined the Plus Architecture team this year, bringing with him over ten years of local experience. He has worked for some of Sydney's leading architecture and design practices, most recently Turner.
Originally studying architecture in Colombia and completing his Masters of the Built Environment (Sustainable Development) at UNSW, Duque is highly experienced in the design and delivery of a wide range of building typologies including multi-residential, seniors living and healthcare projects - especially those above the $100 million mark with six high value projects successfully delivered across NSW.
