The International Living Future Institute (ILFI) has named Paolo Bevilacqua, General Manager – Real Utilities, Frasers Property Australia, as the new vice-chair of its Board of Directors.

One of the country’s leading sustainability professionals with nearly 20 years of experience, Bevilacqua has delivered cutting-edge sustainability solutions to many high-profile projects across various sectors as well as leading the development and implementation of organisational sustainability strategies. He was appointed to the ILFI’s Board of Directors in May 2019.

“It is an honour to serve on the Board as Vice-Chair and to join other Directors in providing leadership and direction to re-imagine what sustainability means in the built environment,” says Bevilacqua.

"As we move into perhaps the most critical decade for addressing climate change, the work of the ILFI is more important than ever and provides hope to respond to this global crisis. The vision for a zero carbon, regenerative built environment is attainable when the right combination of talent, passion and intent is brought together.”

Bevilacqua currently heads Real Utilities, the carbon neutral energy retailer and utilities business wholly owned by Frasers Property. He is also Chair of the Board of Living Future Institute Australia (LFIA), the ILFI’s Australian affiliate.
