Karen Chan has joined Bates Smart as Business Development and Marketing Lead in Sydney.
From 2004 to 2017, Chane worked in Hong Kong and Shanghai for international design practices including Aedas, HBA and B+H Architects. She has also worked in workplace strategy, and in 2017, returned to Sydney with CBRE to lead change communications for IAG’s Darling Park office consolidation and relocation.
“After a tumultuous 2020, it’s never been more important to challenge what we think we know, how we work, live, learn and play; and how we think for the future. This is indeed an exciting time to join a design practice at the forefront of these considerations; that's continuing to shape our cities, our environment and our neighbourhoods," says Chan.
