SJB has appointed Hew Gerrard as associate of its Melbourne Planning Office.A former town planner with Melbourne’s Bayside City Council, Gerrard has also more than 10 years' planning experience gained in both consulting, government and council environments both in Australia and the United Kingdom.
SJB says that after taking on a leadership position, Gerrard will continue to strengthen planning excellence across the SJB Melbourne planning practice.
“His experience crosses a range of project typologies and scales including greenfield subdivisions, commercial and industrial developments and a broad range of medium to high-density residential developments across Victoria,” says SJB.
According to Gerrard, “Planning policies are imperative to enhancing the character, quality and identity of our cities.”
“The realisation of these policies in a coherent and orderly manner enables the creation of sustainable cities which drives growth and development,” he says.
