GHD has announced the acquisition of Coralee Fitzgibbon as the firm’s new Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) Leader within the Asia Pacific region.
Following on from the appointment of Sadaf Parvaiz, who was named GHD’s Global Enterprise Inclusion & Diversity Leader in March 2021, Fitzgibbon will serve as a strategic advisor for the company’s operations in Australia, New Zealand, Philippines and the Pacific. Based in Auckland, New Zealand the new leader will work closely with leadership, employee resource groups, the Global I&D Council and People Team to achieve the overall I&D goals for the enterprise.
Fitzgibbon says she believes fostering human interaction is key to inclusion and diversity of all staff and stakeholders.
“I am thrilled to be joining the GHD family in driving inclusion and diversity forward. I believe human connection and respect for individuals is a key enabler of business performance, and this starts with understanding each other better,” she says.
Coralee brings with her a background in psychology, people experience and analytics. Previously the Diversity and Inclusion Lead at the Bank of New Zealand, Fitzgibbon is passionate about creating an inclusive environment where all people can thrive.
Sadaf Parvaiz says she looks forward to working alongside Coralee and furthering the inclusion and diversity of GHD.
