Ferro Arch Architecture has changed its name and handed the baton to a new boss with the appointment of long-time staffer Jared Chow as managing director of Ferro Chow Architecture.

Ferro Chow Architecture continues a 30-year legacy established by the firm’s founder, leading Queensland architect Frank Ferro, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

Jared Chow joined the company in 2007 and was mentored by Mr Ferro for more than a decade working extensively with the firm’s leadership design team on multi-million dollar commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

Mr Chow has worked throughout South East Asia and the east coast of Australia contributing to high-profile projects and globally recognised masterplans including some of Brisbane’s newest landmarks, such as the Brisbane Quarter, 300 George, The One Brisbane, and the China Centre, in Phnom Penh.

Recognised as leading residential and commercial architects, the firm has changed its name to Ferro Chow Architecture as it continues a record of outstanding growth and positions itself for the future

“Frank Ferro was renowned in Australian architecture and the epitome of a strong, inclusive an knowledgeable industry leader,” Chow says.

“His passion for architecture was contagious and I am so honoured to have worked so closely with him at the forefront of design and successful delivery.

Ferro Chow’s long time Co-director, Marco Ferro said the decision to promote Mr Chow to Managing
Director was an obvious next step for the business.

“I am confident that Jared will lead Ferro Chow with passion and maintain the firm’s commitment to design excellence and innovation,” Ferro says.

“Jared has been a valued employee of the business for more than a decade. His expertise in

innovative commercial architecture is very impressive and his contribution to some of the firms largest projects is remarkable. “

Ferro Chow is currently working on several multi use commercial projects throughout south east Queensland with their most impressive residential design to date, London West End currently under construction.
