Architectus has further grown its leadership team following the appointment of two new principals, Andrew Shields and Sean Bett.

Shields brings to Architectus over 35 years of international experience on a wide range of projects, including primarily specialist technical rail infrastructure projects.

Based in Hong Kong for the past 23 years, Shields will lead the delivery of key NSW rail projects and play an important peer review role for national rail projects.

Bett also brings 30 years of experience to the Architectus leadership team, including 23 years as principal and discipline lead at HASSELL where his primary focus was large-scale workplace projects.

Architectus managing director Ray Brown says that “The appointment of Andrew Shields and Sean Bett reflects our commitment to providing our national clients with leading design.”

“The team at Architectus understands how important integrated aviation and multi-modal transport infrastructure is to the economic, social and environmental sustainability of our cities. I am very excited to be joining Architectus and to have the opportunity to deliver high-quality transport infrastructure in NSW and across Australia,” says Shields.

“I am very excited to be joining the growing Architectus design studio and to have the opportunity to deliver exemplary workplaces with a focus on functionality, design quality and wellbeing,” says Betts.
