Woods Bagot has announced the appointment of Alex Hall as Senior Design Leader in their Adelaide Studio.

Awarded the Emerging Architect Award by the Australian Institute of Architects at the 2013 South Australian Chapter awards, Hall has since thrived as a registered architect in South Australia. His since completed works include a range of civic, culture and the arts, urban design, as well as workplace design, education and health projects.

Woods Bagot says Hall’s design approach encourages opportunities which enable genuine collaboration, and that he delivers outcomes with agile techniques and by implementing ideas across all scales of design.

“We are excited to invite Alex to join our team here in the Adelaide studio,” says Principal Gavin Kain.

“His credentials are outstanding and his collaborative approach to design is a perfect fit with Woods Bagot’s values.”

Hall is an active member of the architecture community in Adelaide and has acted as a member editor of Architecture Journal PLACE magazine. He has been the Chapter Councillor of the AIA SA Chapter. Chair of the New Architects Group SA and a teacher at the School of Architecture, University of South Australia.

Prior to joining Woods Bagot’s Adelaide studio, Hall was a Senior Architect at Hassell where he worked on a diverse range of projects including the Hawke Building and Master Plan 2020 (University of South Australia), and the Adelaide Zoo Entrance Precinct and Giant Panda Forest (Zoos South Australia).
