Two Australian projects have been announced among the finalists for the 2015 ArchDaily Building of the Year Awards and will now wait in anticipation for the final results.

Lune de Sang-Shed 1 by Sydney’s CHROFI architects and One Central Park by Ateliers Jean Nouvel and PTW architects, also from Sydney, are the successful Australian projects in this year’s edition of the peer-voted awards program.

The projects were named among 68 other finalists across 14 categories, from a total of 3,000 international projects.  Over 18,000 architects and enthusiasts participated in the nomination process and will once again vote for the overall winner via an online voting forum open until 4 February.

Lune de Sang-Shed 1 will compete with four other finalists in the Industrial Architecture category while One Central Park will be a very strong contender for the Housing category, also with five total finalists. 

The firm behind the overall most voted project will receive an HP T520 Designjet T520 ePrinter, and the second and third most voted practices will receive an HP T120 Designjet ePrinter.
