Urkrainian designer Julia Kononenko has re-invented traditional bathroom fixtures with a two-in-one pivoting arm that can deliver water to both the shower and sink.
The long stainless steel arm resides in the shower but can be adjusted to service the sink thanks to a hinged connection and counterbalance.
The water flow can also be changed to suit the required use.
When above the sink, the unit gives a regular water flow. Moving it to the shower zone automatically turns the flow to dispersing outwards.
Kononenko presented her design to Designboom’s ‘DIY Submissions’, offsetting the industrial-looking steel fixture with a wooden basin and shower base.
