Australian developer Crown Group has revealed the details of a number of penthouse apartments across Sydney’s CBD, North Sydney, and Parramatta.

The $250 million Sydney by Crown features four level-27 units that include naturally-lit living spaces, access to an open-air landscaped rooftop area, and technology geared for entertainment such as multimedia touch-controlled home automation systems.

A 150sqm master penthouse bounded by a water feature will be retained as a serviced-apartment suite on the top floor of the building, which is designed by Koichi Takada Architects to feature heritage-inspired lower levels transitioning to a glass and steel tower, capped with more than a dozen steel arches.

At North Sydney, five penthouses on level 20 of Skye by Crown will also bring the backyard up. Occupants of each unit will have access to private rooftop gardens, outdoor seating, barbeque areas and landscape terraces. Mature plants such as dragon, frangipani and olive trees are included to ensure gardens are verdant across the seasons.

Allen Jack + Cottier’s Parramatta V by Crown also features six penthouse units, positioned on the upper levels of the 29 storey tower. Each apartment has uninterrupted views of the Parramatta skyline and parkland, or Sydney CBD, and contributes to the building’s identity as a ‘Vertical Village’.
