The Australian Institute of Architects has released the list of nominees for the 2016 Sunshine Coast Queensland Regional Architecture Awards. Winners of the prestigious architecture design awards will be announced on Friday 22 April.

Sixteen projects are in the running for honours in the Sunshine Coast Regional Architecture Awards with this year’s entries reflecting a diversity of architectural typologies. Winning projects will progress to the coveted State Architecture Awards to be announced in Brisbane on 24 June.

Queensland 2016 Awards Jury Director, Michael Lavery (m3architecture) will present the Regional Commendations to Sunshine Coast winners at a special awards ceremony at Surfair Beach Hotel, Marcoola commencing at 6:00pm Friday 22 April.
