A new ‘Skyslide’ on Los Angeles' US Bank Tower, the tallest building on the West Coast, is expected to provide an adrenaline rush to those willing to brave the experience.

A glass slide designed by engineering firm M. Ludvik & Co. will hang 1000 feet above the ground and will provide a terrifying drop from the building's 70th floor to its 69th floor observation deck through a 45-foot-long chute made of four-inch-thick clear glass.

The project is being executed as part of the building's Gensler-designed OUE Skyspace LA attraction, soon to be California's tallest open-air observation deck.

The Skyslide is expected to open this year.
