Make founder Ken Shuttleworth will deliver a keynote lecture at the University of New South Wales, while on his visit to Sydney to officially launch his architecture firm’s new Australian studio.

Focusing on his inspiration and motivation, and his specific approach to the design process, ‘Ken Shuttleworth: A journey of design and discovery’ will take place on Wednesday 17 August at UNSW’s Kensington campus.

The London-headquartered Make made a name for itself in the Australian marketplace after being appointed on major project collaborations in Sydney’s CBD including Brookfield Office Properties’ AUD$1 billion Wynyard Place redevelopment (Design Architect); Pontiac Properties’ The Sandstones Buildings in Bridge Street hotel conversion (Design Architect); and Macrolink and Landream’s residential development at 71 Macquarie Street (Interior Architect).

Shuttleworth says they have relocated some of the most experienced architects from their London headquarters to the new Sydney operation.
