NGV wants you to design Melbourne with architecture firm ARM

The National Gallery of Victoria announces a keynote talk by MoMA’s Senior Curator of Architecture and Design and Director of Research and Development, Paola Antonelli on the topic of design and its hidden history of violence.

One of the world’s foremost experts on contemporary design and architecture, the Italian-born Antonelli is a curator at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York and is particularly interested in design’s influence on everyday life. The free keynote being held on Sunday 4th October at NGV International will discuss how design can provide extraordinary insight into society and human nature and will take a look into the dark side of the world’s ‘second oldest’ profession – design.

Design and Violence, a keynote talk by Antonelli will be held on Sunday 4th October 2015, 5 – 6pm at NGV International, Clemenger BBDO Auditorium.

Entry is free and no bookings are required; limited seating available. Detailed information about the free keynote can be accessed on the NGV website.
